Robb talks about his bliss of slowing everything down and living for each day, enjoying himself every day and remaining teachable, fighting through imposter syndrome, growing up poor in England and then going to Oxford, his experience as an alcoholic, helping people who struggle with addiction focus on the good, how to start over without starting from scratch, raising the bar for human kindness, losing everything and reframing alcoholism as a thinking problem vs a drinking problem, trauma being the true gateway drug, surrounding yourself with “million dollar minds, instead of ten cent minds”, improving self-love, being the best addictionologist in the world, actually listening to each other in conversation, and helping others find bliss by slowing everything down and not taking themselves too seriously.
